UTTARA RAM
Backed by her degree in Music along with her performances for AIR, Doordarshan and major music troupes in Chennai, Uttara's mellifluous voice brings in the essence of P. Susheela, S. Janaki, K. S. Chitra and the likes. Her impeccable ability to reach higher octaves with ease once even made maestro Ilayaraja appreciate her. Uttara is one of the founder members of Aashiana, and has been performing in the US for nearly 2 decades.
SRIRAM SRINIVASAN
With a crispy and captivating voice, Sriram has regaled audiences in India, Singapore and USA for many years now. His forte has been rendering soulful music, just like his mentor S P Balasubramanian, whose voice he can easily emulate. Sriram has been performing with Aashiana since 2000.
RAJ
Raj will accompany Uttara and Sriram on his magical key-board. Aided by his magical software, Raj has pioneered the art of perfecting the back ground music for his lead singers, closely following the original score. He has also imbibed a lot from M S Vishwanathan when he worked with him in movies like Rangaratinam and others. Raj also has been performing with Aashiana since 2000.
SURESH SHRINIVAS
A versatile artist - violinist, keyboard player & an excellent singer, Suresh is bestowed with a soulful and captivating voice that has moved many an audience in India and US. His forte is melody and he sings songs of all genres with equal ease and finesse. Leading musicians including Hariharan and Jatin-Lalit have made complimentary remarks about his singing. In addition to being a trained classical singer and violinist, Suresh has also composed music for a short film called "Shaadi.com".
